Those Who Stayed
Directed, edited, filmed. UCL Ethnographic & Documentary Film Masters Term One Project. London. 2024.
Those Who Stayed revolves around the remaining residents of Carpenters Estate, a 23-acre apartment complex in eastern London that’s fallen victim to several failed regeneration projects since the early aughts. Of the 434 apartments within the three high rise buildings on Carpenters, less than 20 remain occupied due to the council's indifference of those who stayed.
